Shipping policy

1. Delivery Coverage

Pooch Parcels (“we”, “our”, “us”) currently delivers within South Africa only. We do not offer international shipping at this time.

Deliveries are made to physical addresses only — no PO Boxes.

2. Processing and Dispatch Times

Orders are processed within 2–4 working days after payment has been received.
Once dispatched, you will receive an email or SMS notification containing your tracking details.

During busy periods, sales promotions, or public holidays, processing may take slightly longer.

3. Delivery Timeframes

Delivery times depend on your location:

  • Major centres: 2–4 working days after dispatch

  • Outlying or rural areas: 3–7 working days after dispatch

Please note that delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on courier schedules and external factors beyond our control.

4. Shipping Fees

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and displayed before payment is confirmed.
Free delivery may be offered during promotions or for subscription customers where stated.

5. Courier Partners

We partner with reputable South African courier companies to ensure safe and timely delivery. Once your parcel has been handed to the courier, you will receive tracking information.

Please ensure that your delivery address and contact details are correct at the time of purchase, as we cannot be held responsible for delays or losses due to incorrect information provided by the customer.

6. Failed Deliveries or Re-delivery

If a delivery attempt fails due to an incorrect address or the recipient not being available, the courier may contact you to arrange re-delivery.
Re-delivery charges may apply in such cases.

7. Damaged or Missing Parcels

If your parcel arrives damaged, or if items are missing, please notify us within 48 hours of receipt by emailing info@poochparcels.co.za with your order number and supporting photos.
We will assist in resolving the issue as quickly as possible.
